Please note the following updates to the IXPUG meeting announcement of 5/16/14.

* The Intel Xeon Phi (MIC) User Group meeting registration deadline has been extended to July 1st.
* Registration is free.
* Speakers have been posted in the program.
* Last-minute Lightning Talks will be accepted until July 1st.

Intel Xeon Phi User Group Meeting

Come and enjoy a two-day technology gathering in Austin!

The Intel Xeon Phi processor is the latest Intel Many Integrated Core (MIC) architecture product to bring many-core technology to HPC users. The MIC architecture features 60+ SIMD cores in a single processor of teraflop capability. Many groups across academia and industry have been developing and porting codes for the Phi processor and gaining experience that new and seasoned users would find valuable.

The Intel Xeon Phi user group (IXPug) has been created to promote the exchange of user experiences in adopting and using the Phi processors. TACC is hosting the IXPug meeting this year, July 8-9. Save the dates and join us in Austin for a roundup of topics on Phi processor technologies, application ports, tools and libraries, and experiences.

IXPug is an excellent opportunity to begin or enhance your Xeon (X86) programming skills on the Intel Many Integrated Core (MIC) architecture, and embrace and expand your capabilities to adopt MIC technologies in HPC.

Applicants will receive acceptance notifications by Friday, June 13, 2014.
