XSEDE, along with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, the National Institute for Computational Sciences and Georgia Tech will be presenting an OpenACC GPU programming workshop on August 13 and 14. The hands-on platform will be Keeneland, the NSF’s premier GPU resource. The agenda is below and it is designed as two short days to be time-zone friendly. OpenACC is the accepted standard using compiler directives to allow quick development of GPU capable codes using standard languages and compilers. It has been used with great success to accelerate real applications within very short development periods. This workshop assumes knowledge of either C or Fortran programming. It will have a hands-on component using the NSF large scale GPU computing platform presently being deployed at the National Institute for Computational Sciences.
Please click on the individual site for a link to the registration page.
Also, please stay tuned as more sites may be added within the next few days.
