[LA-SiGMA] Dr. Jaime Fernandez-Baca - LASiGMA Seminar, Wednesday, October 17, 3:30 p.m.

Dear All,

As a reminder, our next LASiGMA Seminar will be given by Dr. Jaime  
Fernandez-Baca of ORNL. Dr. Fernandez's talk is scheduled for  
Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 3:30 p.m., and will be hosted by LSU in  
Johnston Hall, room 338. The title of his talk is "Neutron Scattering  
at the Spallation Neutron Source and the High-Flux Isotope Reactor in  
Oak Ridge National Laboratory ."

Dr. Jaime Fernandez-Baca is a Senior Research Staff Member in Oak  
Ridge National Laboratory's Quantum Condensed Matter Division. He has  
over 25 years of experience in the study of the magnetic ordering and  
spin dynamics of complex oxides and related alloys utilizing neutron  
scattering techniques. His most recent interest is in the study of  
colossal magnetoresistive oxides and multiferroic materials.
