[LA-SiGMA-gpu] GPU meeting this Thursday

Hi All,

We will have our regular GPU meeting on June 20, 2013.

Time    : 12:30PM ~ 1:30PM CDT June 20, 2013
Location: 338 Johnston Hall

NOTE: PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED.

There will be two sessions of this meeting:

session 1: I will briefly introduce some of the GPU related work
that I have been doing as well as some ideas and efforts
on cyberinfrastructure development in general.

session 2: Development updates on 5 software packages that the
LA-SiGMA team has been working on for a while:

	Hirsch-Fye  : Conrad and Sameer
	VMC         : Niladri
	Ising Model : Sheng, Ye and Ka Ming
	Classical MC: Troy and Michal
	Kink-QMC    : Xiaoyao

We want to get the whole team synchronized about the progress
and identify barriers and potential breakthroughs together.
There is no need for the developers to prepare a formal
presentation, but developers of each code shall prepare
to give a brief (3-5 minutes) talk to answer at least
the following questions:

1. current status and rough percentage of the overall goal;
2. technical barriers;
3. what help do you need to achieve the goal ?
