[LA-SiGMA-funded] LaSiGMA Seminar by Peter Norlander - Feb. 24

Peter Nordlander (http://report.rice.edu/sir/faculty.detail?p=E1F62023CA84C5F4),
an world expert on plasmonics in nanostructures, will be delivering La-SiGMA 
Seminar lecture on Friday February 24th, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Attached is a tentative 
schedule for his visit as well as the flier/poster advertising his lecture. 
Peter has appointments in the departments of Physics & Astronomy, and Electrical 
& Computer Engineering at Rice University. He is also the Director of the Rice 
Quantum Institute.

I encourage everyone to attend. Peter is a APS fellow for his pioneering 
contributions to the chemical physics of atom-surface interactions, including 
the development of a many-body theoretical description of charge transfer 
processes in atom-surface scattering. He is also a fellow of SPIE (International 
Society for Optics and Photonics). If you would like to schedule a group or
