[LA-SiGMA-funded] Seminar by Peter Norlander - Feb. 24 LaSiGMA Seminar and Sid Fuchs ME Seminar Series

Dear Colleagues,

 

Peter Nordlander (
http://report.rice.edu/sir/faculty.detail?p=E1F62023CA84C5F4), Professor
of Physics & Astronomy, and Electrical & Computer Engineering at Rice
University and Director of the Rice Quantum Institute will be delivering
a La-SiGMA Seminar lecture on Friday February 24th. Attached is a
tentative schedule for his visit as well as the flyer/poster advertizing
his lecture.

 

His morning is planned to be spent at the CCT for meetings with La-SiGMA
faculty, post-docs and students. Arrangements will be made at CCT by
Terrie Bordelon (tbordelon at cct.lsu.edu) for these meetings to be open to
all La-SiGMA partner institutions through a bidirectional broadcast.

 

Please e-mail Shelley Lee (sjlee at cct.lsu.edu), with a copy to me by
Friday morning indicating if you and/or your group members are
interested in participating in the morning meetings at CCT, and also
indicate if you would like some one-to-one time with Peter Nordlander.
There are still slots available in the afternoon, and also such meetings
can be arranged during the morning upon request.
