[LA-SiGMA-funded] Question about SuppOutreach for Reporting

Hello,

Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions.

1.  On March 30, I sent out an email reminding everyone of the supplemental
funds available for female and Under represented minority students.

Has anyone taken advantage of these funds?

Please let me know for reporting purposes.

                  "Hello,
                   I am writing to remind you of the supplements available
to Under-represented minority and female graduate students paid under
LA-SiGMA.  LA-SiGMA will supplement research assistantships
                   at Alliance institutions with $3,750 at the beginning of
graduate school (on a comptetive basis), and $3,750 more upon completion of
their qualifying exams.

                  The recipients will be required to return to their
undergraduate institutions to recruit students, thus sustaining the pipeline
of students into the graduate programs.

                  Current students are eligible for the supplements as
well.  Please keep these benefits in mind while recruiting and selecting
graduate students."
2. Have you sent graduate students/and or postdocs to conduct research in
international labs through LA-SiGMA? Please explain.
