[LaSiGMA-funded] LA-SiGMA Interships

Dear colleagues,
  We need to identify national and international locations that are willing to take our students for extended internships. The parameters for the internships should be, I think,

1-3 month stay with 3 months the optimal time period (1 semester)
LA-SiGMA pays the salary and travel expenses
If the local site can contribute to local housing, per diem, and other local items, they so do.


The EEWD committee is aware of some of the potential relationships, but this message is a request for you to send this info to Leigh and I.  We have begun discussion with PNNL, but have not started serious conversations with other places.  We look forward to hearing from you.
