[LA-SiGMA] HPC Training: Introduction to Python Programming

Dear All,

The next HPC training will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 13 at 10:00 am in 
307 Frey and broadcast through Adobe Connect for remote users.

Wednesday, Mar 13, 2013: Introduction to Python Programming
This training will provide a brief introduction to the python 
programming language, introduce you to some useful python modules for 
system management and scientific computing.

Next HPC Training
Wednesday, Mar 20, 2013: Make and Software Installation
In this tutorial we will cover the following topics:
  * writing a Makefile to handle dependencies among source files,
  * building/installing a program and using macros with Make,
  * building software packages that come bundled with configure scripts 
and makefiles

institution who may benefit from these training.
