[LA-SiGMA] HPC Training: Intro to HPC

Dear All,

Our first HPC training will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10:00 am in 
307 Frey and broadcast through Adobe Connect for remote users.

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013: Introduction to High Performance Computing
This training will introduce you to HPC resources for research and 
concepts needed to use these resources. You do not need to have a LONI 
or LSU HPC account to attend this training. Instructions for requesting 
accounts and allocations will be provided in this training.

Next HPC Training
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013: HPC User Environment
This training provides an overview of the User environment and running 
jobs on HPC systems. This training requires a LONI or LSU HPC account.

Both of these training sessions are mandatory for new and prospective users.

We are still working on the Spring 2013 HPC Training Schedule, more 
details will follow within the next week.
