[LA-SiGMA] HPC Training: Subversion Version Control

Dear All,

The next HPC training will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 10:00 am in 
307 Frey and broadcast through Adobe Connect for remote users.

Wednesday, Oct 10, 2012: Subversion Version Control
Subversion is tool to manage revision and version control for software, 
documentation, web pages etc that is required for collaborative 
activities. This training will cover topics such as setting up a 
repository, workflows and making changes to repositories.

Next HPC Training
Wednesday, Oct 24, 2012: Introduction to Perl
This training gives a brief introduction to the perl programming 
language, writing perl scripts, installing and using perl modules.

Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) and XSEDE will hold a one day 
training event on Python for HPC on October 15, 2012 from 9AM - 4PM. To
