[LA-SiGMA] LI-LA-SiGMA seminar series

Dear All,

 

Due to absence of speaker the LI-LA-SiGMA seminar originally scheduled for
Feb. 8th is being canceled. Our next seminar will be on Feb 22nd and we are
pleased to have Dr. Piers Coleman as our presenter. Dr. Coleman is in the
Dept. of Physics at Rutgers University and is one of the leading researcher
in the field of condensed matter physics. 

 

Announcements:

 

We need speakers! The current LI-LA-SiGMA seminar schedule including future
speakers (titles of talks and abstracts) is attached to this email. It is
urgent that we start filling the open spots for the second half of March and
beginning of April. That said, I would like to ask the PI's, co-PI's and
faculty related to both LI and LA-SiGMA to suggest speakers. Please, make
sure that the invitees are active and well known researchers in scientific
fields aligned with the LI and LA-SiGMA key research areas.
