Dear LSU LA-SiGMA Members
The LA-SiGMA grant will officially end on September 30, 2015.  Although we
will request a no-cost extension, at the present spending levels we will
run out of funds shortly after this date.  In addition, a no-cost extension
is not automatic for this type of project. So, please plan to move your
LA-SiGMA funded students and postdocs to other sources of support at or
around this date.

Please be sure to make your summer support requests (and also be sure that
they are uploaded into the system) for this summer by May 29. At this time,
if there are any unencumbered funds we will re-allocate them.  I am sorry
that we have to do this, but it is essential that we can close out the
grant without returning funds to NSF.
