[LA-SiGMA-LSU] Shelley's departure - Who to contact for travel, supplies, etc.

Dear All,

Today is the last day of Shelley Lee as the LA-SiGMA Project Coordinator. We thank Shelley for all her efforts to make LA-SiGMA successful.

If you have questions that you have sent to Shelley and still need to be resolved, please bring them to my attention at brodrig at cct.lsu.edu <mailto:brodrig at cct.lsu.edu>.

As a reminder, there are funds available for travel, materials and supplies, and undergraduates through LA-SiGMA.

For travel requests and approval please contact Bety Rodriguez-Milla at brodrig at cct.lsu.edu. If your travel has been approved to be supported by LA-SiGMA, given Shelley’s departure, the paperwork will have to be routed through your home department. You will need to send the already prepared forms to Ms. Carol Duran at the Physics and Astronomy Department, 285B Nicholson Hall, cduran at lsu.edu <mailto:cduran at lsu.edu>, so that PI Jarrell can sign them. 
Please note, LSU LA-SiGMA travel funds are available for LSU LA-SiGMA researchers to present results or collaborate with other groups and to bring in speakers or collaborators to visit LSU LA-SiGMA researchers. For materials and supplies, please contact, Phillip Sprunger at phils at lsu.edu or 578-1254.

We have a small amount of funding to support undergraduate students working on LA-SiGMA projects. To obtain support for one of your projects, please contact John DiTusa at ditusa at phys.lsu.edu.

For seminar speaker recommendations, please contact John DiTusa and Bety Rodriguez.

Regarding publications, there are a few things to remember:
- publications supported by LASiGMA should be acknowledged appropriately: http://www.institute.loni.org/lasigma/acknowledge.php; and
- cross institutional publications are highly encouraged by NSF, so please reach out to your colleagues at partnering institutions.
