[LA-SiGMA-LSU] Updates for All Hands Meeting

Dear colleagues, 

     For the LaSigma All Hands meting I am preparing a presentation on 
"Diversity and Workforce Development". Could you please send to Leigh 
Townsend and me the following information as soon as possible? 


1. We need to know the current diversity in LA-SiGMA (women and URM)
throughout faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. Have any of you added
new graduate students to your group since last summer? Have any of your
graduate students left the LA-SIGMA grant and/or graduated?

2. Are any of your Under Represented Minority or Female graduate students
supported by the annual $3750 supplements available?

3. Have any of your graduate students or postdocs who received new
internships? or used LA-SiGMA travel funds to attend professional
development workshops or conferences?

4.  Are you participating in any new national and/or international
collaborations related to LA-SiGMA research?

5.  Have you collaborated with any industrial partners for LA-SiGMA
research?
