[LA-SiGMA-LSU] Co-sponsored seminar by Steve Plimpton - Nov. 4 Sid Fuchs ME Seminar Series and LaSiGMA Seminar

Dear Mark and Ramu,

    I spoke briefly to Dimitris as well and the consensus seems that  
we try to relay the talk over EVO or ADOBE CONNECT. I will try to test  
it out in the Mech. Eng building. We can share his screen and also  
send out the slides well in advance. My only worry is that These  
connections have not been very reliable when lots of people have  
signed in. We will give it a try anyhow.

    The talk is in the afternoon, but we still have him for most of  
the morning in CCT. It would be good to have him interact with  
LONI/LASiGMA faculty. J338 is reserved, but we have J244 and J218  
available. The schedule that Dimitris sent out is

  1.       Multi-scale simulations and tool development group
  (coarse-graining, continuum-MD/DPD, etc.);
Venue: Venue: 218 or 244 Johnston Hall (CCT); Time Slot: 8:30am - 9:15am

  2.       GPU group; Venue: 338 Johnston Hall (CCT); Time Slot:
  9:30am-10:15am

  3.       General LAMMPS interested group;
Venue: Venue: 218 or 244 Johnston Hall (CCT); Time Slot: 11:00am-11:45am

We will be on EVO all this while, but if people tell in advance as to  
when they plan to come in, then we can better organize it. I also  
spoke to Ram and he is available at this time.
