[LA-SiGMA-LSU] Scott Page presentation

Hello Everyone,,

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 20th, at 10:00 a.m. Scott Page from the University
of Michigan, presents a talk on "Diversity and Collective  
Performance", in room
338 at Johnston Hall.

Page is visiting Louisiana Technical University. His talk will be  
broadcast to LSU. Scott is a mathematical economist by training, and  
the author of several
well-known books (including "The Difference" and "Diversity and Complexity").

His research shows how, when trying to solve complex problems, a diverse team
trumps a team of experts every time. Scott will be giving a university-wide
talk at Louisiana Tech. LASiGMA is the sponsor of his broadcast talk to LSU.

Scott Page is a great speaker, and is in high demand at the national  
level. Please, spread the word about his talk, and encourage those who  
are interested  to attend.
