Dear all,

We will have our weekly TESC seminar this Thursday (7/23) at 11:30am in 1008B Digital Media Center.
Please bring your laptop for hands-on exercise.


We are going to continue the second seminar featuring HPX started last week. Dr. Steven Bramdt, a senior

scientist at CCT, will give a tutorial titled "Scripting HPX".


Abstract:
For those intimidated by the syntax and compilation times of HPX, we
offer a hands-on tutorial for interfacing between the Lua programming
language and HPX. By using Lua, you can leverage the power of futures,
dataflow, and even distributed computing from a small and simple script.

PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED.
