[LA-SiGMA-TESC] Technologies for Extreme Scale Computing seminar Thursday (1/15)

Happy New Year and welcome back from the holiday break! We are going to start our weekly TESC seminar for Spring 2015 this Thursday (1/15) at the Digital Media Center.


Sheng Feng, a graduate student from the department of Physics and Astronomy, will be presenting. The title is "Optimizing utilization of Xeon Phi and CPUs for the Hybridization expansion CTQMC code".  Sheng will share his experience in using Xeon Phi in symmetric mode. He will talk about using a dynamic scheduler to optimize the load on CPUs and Xeon Phi to achieving better utilization of the resources.


PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED.
