The TESC team is going to have this week's seminar on Thursday (11/13) in 1034 Digital Media Center.


Dr. Steven Brandt, a senior scientist at CCT, will be presenting "Survey of Dynamic Runtimes".

Abstract:
Traditionally, HPC has focused on static load balancing in order to take advantage of massive parallelism. Recently, more dynamic systems (such as HPX) have been receiving more attention. This talk surveys some of the more prominent and notable systems in this category, and attempts to find the features that makes each of them distinct.
