[LA-SiGMA-TESC] Technologies for Extreme Scale Computing seminar Thursday (3/27)

Hi all,


We will have our weekly seminar at 11:00am-12:00pm on Thursday (3/27) in the Digital Media Center Theatre.


Ye Fang, a graduate student from the department of Computer Science and Engineering, will present this week. The title is "Ligand-protein docking on heterogeneous supercomputers".  The presentation will focus on the research of adapting the molecular docking algorithm to contemporary heterogeneous platforms, including CPU, Xeon Phi and GPU. The talk will showcase the performance tuning and strategies used to maintain a universal code infrastructure for multiple platforms.

PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED after the presentation in 1008B DMC.
