Hi all,


We will have our weekly seminar at 11:00am-12:00pm on Thursday (3/6) in the Digital Media Center Theatre.


Dr. David Koppleman, an associate professor from the Division of Electrical & Computer Engineering, will give a presentation titled "Kepler vs. Phi".

Abstract: The Kepler and Phi accelerators have similar raw computational power, but differ in their internal structure and in the way they are programmed. The talk will examine these differences from the
perspective of how they might give the respective devices a fundamental advantage, and in how they affect a variational Monte Carlo code.

PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED after the presentation in 1008B DMC.
