[LA-SiGMA-TESC] Technologies for Extreme Scale Computing (TESC) seminar Thursday (6/12)

Hi all,


We are going to start the weekly TESC seminar for the summer session this week. The seminar will be held in the Digital Media Center Theatre on Thursday (6/12) at 12:00pm-1:00pm.


This week we have Sheng Feng to give a presentation. Sheng is a graduate student from the department of Physics and Astronomy, he recently ported his spin glass model (quantum monte carlo code) to the Intel Xeon Phi platform.  Sheng is going to talk about his code tuning effort and the improved performance.

PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED after the presentation in 1008B DMC.

Presentation time: 12:00PM~1:00PM CST
Location: Digital Media Center Theatre
