[LA-SiGMA-gpu] [LA-SiGMA-TESC] TESC seminar Thursday (1/23)

Hi all,

As you might have noticed that the title of the GPU-team at LA-SiGAM has been tentatively renamed to "Technologies of Extreme Scale Computing" or TESC.

Tristan Vanderbruggen, a graduate student in Computer Science at the University of Delaware, will kick-start our weekly seminar for spring 2014 on Thursday 1/23. The title of his talk is "An OpenACC Compiler for Research". Tristan's research focuses on source-to-source compilation and its application to the development of programming models. Working towards getting his Ph.D. in computer science, Tristan concurrently collaborates with ROSE group at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED at 12:15 pm in 1008B DMC before the presentation.
