We will have our weekly seminar at 11:00am-12:00pm on Thursday (4/3) in 1008B Digital Media Center.


This week we have Rakib Hasan, a PhD student from the department of Computer Science and Engineering, to present. The title is "Optimizations on Xeon Phi: challenges and issues".

The talk will include:
- Things to keep in mind when coding for Xeon Phi
- Performance of some linear algebra on Xeon Phi
- Impact of some optimization techniques

PIZZA AND DRINK WILL BE PROVIDED after the presentation in 1008B DMC.
