[LA-SiGMA-gpu] UPDATE: GPU meeting (July 11th) - TWO TALKS SCHEDULED: Load Balancing on Xeon Phi (Eric Dilmore) and I/O Optimization with HDF5 (Sheng Feng)

Hi All,

Our GPU meeting on July 11th will have two sessions:

1. Eric Dilmore, one of our REU students will talk about his work
on load balancing among Xeon Phi nodes on Stampede, which is #6 
supercomputer on the latest top500 list (http://top500.org/site/48958).

(~ 20 - 30 minutes)

2. Sheng Feng, an LSU graduate student working on the GPU 
Edwards-Anderson code will give a talk about his success on I/O 
optimization with HDF5 (http://www.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/).

(~ 5 - 10 minutes)
