[LA-SiGMA-gpu] No GPU meeting this week and ...

Hi All,

There will be no GPU meeting this Thursday.

On the 5th of Sept, Jonathan Bentz from NVIDIA will give us a talk
on NVIDIA Kepler. This talk is part of our CUDA research center program
and it is also relevant to Shelob
(https://www.cct.lsu.edu/news/lsu-cct-receives-half-million-nsf-grant-gpu-cluster).

Although many of you who attend the GPU meeting in person want to
stay in 307 Frey, we will likely move this and future GPU meetings
to the Digital Media Center to take advantage of the advanced
audio/video systems (more tests to be done). We are expecting more
remote attendees from SURAgrid, which is the HPC component of the
Southeastern Universities Research Association.

A formal announcement of Jonathan's talk will be sent around next week
with the final decision of the location.
