[LA-SiGMA-funded] Postdoctoral Position at Xavier University Chemistry Department

Dear LA-SiGMA Faculty,

A post-doctoral research position is opened at Xavier University Chemistry Department.  The research project, which is on the development of superparamagnetic nanoparticulate and cage compounds for biomedical and information storage application, is a part of a state-wide collaborative research experience funded by NSF.  The selected candidate would be an experimentalist with PhD in organic, coordination or organometallic chemistry with a strong experience in synthesis and characterization, and a good theoretical chemistry background.  Experience in the advanced NMR and in electrochemistry techniques is a plus.  The researcher will help with lab management, maintaining the equipment and with training and supervising the undergraduate research students.
