[LA-SiGMA-funded] LASIGMA Seminar Update

Dear LaSigma Participants,

        I am pleased to announce that we have decided to schedule the LaSigma
  seminars for the 2012-2013 academic year on Wednesday's at 3:40 PM.  
Please try
  to keep this time of the week clear so that you will be able to  
attend as many
  of the seminars as possible. I think we have varied and interesting set of
  speakers lined up and I hope to have a nearly full schedule. I have asked
  Shelley Lee to set up a calendar specifically for the LaSigma seminar series
  so that we can keep track of which dates are reserved and to keep all of you
  informed about the schedule.

      There are a number of people who have volunteered to serve as hosts for
  our speakers. It is now time to finalize the invitations and reserve  
the dates
  for the speakers. Can each of you contact the the speakers you are  
to host and
  finalize a date for their visit. Please remember that we would like the
  speakers to be in contact with Shelley Lee when making travel plans.  
She knows
  the ins and outs of reimbursement policy for state sponsored travel which are
  the rules we must follow.
