[LA-SiGMA-funded] Supplemental funding for URM and female graduate students

Hello,

As part of LA-SiGMA's Diversity Plan, each LA-SiGMA institution will offer
supplemental funding to qualified Under-Represented Minority and/or female
graduate students. Eligible students will complete an application and submit
other necessary materials to me at lgalat1 at lsu.edu; I will then send all
application materials to the EEWD representative at each school so that
faculty members at each school can choose which student(s) will receive the
supplements.

The application is available on the LA-SiGMA website at
http://www.institute.loni.org/lasigma/documents_la.php under Miscellaneous
Documents. I have also attached both a PDF and MS Word version of the
application. If you would like to nominate a graduate student for this
supplement, please have the student complete the application and submit
other necessary materials to lgalat1 at lsu.edu.
