Larry,

You are right. Unfortunately the timing was driven by the guest rather than
the host. I mentioned the tentative dates (Nov. 3, 4 - I was hoping for a
two day stay which he could not accommodate) when we had the seminar
committee teleconference. 

I will get Steve's presentation file and e-mail it to all before the
seminar. We will do a better job coordinating in the future.

Hi LA-SiGMA:   Embarrassment of riches!    As you know, Mike Klein
will be giving a seminar Friday afternoon at UNO.   Klein's research
is even more closely aligned with LA-SiGMA efforts than is Plimpton's
(which is highly relevant).   Any electronic preservation (even if
only slides) of the Plimpton talk would be *much* appreciated.
